Clinched started with a simple frustration: too many clubs losing weeks to WhatsApp chains and committee phone calls just to find a manager. We built the tool we wished existed.

Before Clinched, finding a manager meant working the phone, chasing word-of-mouth leads, and hoping someone in the WhatsApp group knew someone. It worked, eventually — but it cost volunteers time they didn’t have, every single season.

Clinched began as a straightforward idea: put clubs and coaches in front of each other directly, without the group chats and guesswork. What made it work was who built it — people who already knew exactly what a club committee needed, because they’d sat on that side of the table themselves.
